Transom Transducers mount on the transom (back) of the boat in contact with the surface of the water. To prevent damage to the boat or transducer, a kick-up feature in the mounting bracket allows the transducer to pivot up and out of the way if struck by an object. Transom mount hardware is included with the transducer.
