MapCreate™ USA Series 6.3 - MapCreate™ USA CD-ROM software delivers U.S. state mapping detail that covers rivers, lakes, tributaries, Great Lakes, coastal waters and shorelines, marine navigation aids plus interstate/federal/state highways, city streets, rural roads, cities, towns, railroads, key landmarks and more. Series 6.3 USA also includes 2,000,000 POIs and a new, easier-to-use interface. Note: You must use a Lowrance/LEI branded memory card reader/writer for MapCreate™ USA 6.3 to work properly.
MapCreate™ does not handle user information like the waypoints and routes, but does allow you to create custom maps, for upload into a GPS mapping units or handheld programmable cartridges.
The format of our up-loadable maps is a special compressed format which allows us to put increased mapping detail in a smaller memory space. However this prevents the files of standard cartography programs from being usable with our products. You cannot use the maps from other cartography programs or editors, nor can you upload any form of scanned maps or mapping data. We do not currently offer any form of conversion program for those files.
